Petal is named after Petal childhood cancer research. A charity that raises funds for research into childhood cancer. (petalcancer.co.uk) Petal teaches the Eco Tykes about the magic of a hug. A hug helps to melt away your worries about your problems, take the ouch away when your sore and helps with the yucky, wobbly sensations when you feel sick. For a short while they, they give you good and happy thoughts and that makes you feel warm, cosy and loved inside and out! People need more Hugs. In the Eco Tyke Motto the message is, “ If tha does owt for nowt, do it for people animals, plants, and the environment” Why do the Eco Tykes put people first?
